Energy Group was represented by Peter Špak, Member of the Board of Directors, and Slovarm by Ján Mocko, Head of Purchasing, and Ing. Marek Mrekaj, Head of Technical Section.

During six working days, they negotiated with 13 companies in different locations in eastern China. In the Province of Fujian, they visited the city of Xiamen, and in the Province of Zhejiang, the cities of Wenzhou, Yuhuan, Yuyao and Cixi, where they went through difficult negotiations with business partners.

In eastern China, they travelled on trains that are now among the most technologically advanced in the world. They covered 1,500 km on trains and over 18,000 km by planes. China's infrastructure and the technological level of firms is still moving forward not only in the largest central cities, but also in smaller towns and provinces.

Our delegation had the opportunity to visit a number of companies with different technological levels, but all of which meet the standards for the production of products destined for the European market.

The main objective of business meetings was to negotiate better prices, to settle compensation for claimed products, and to obtain a promise for improved payment terms from suppliers. And last but not least, also to identify new technologies for Slovarm and other manufacturing companies in Energy Group. The objectives of the business trip were largely achieved.
