In the field of sports, we support football and volleyball in Myjava, young athletes in Holíč, and we're the main sponsor of the Slovak Chess Federation.
The Slovarm brand has been represented for several years via sponsorship at the largest golf tournament in Slovakia – the Penati Slovak Open. The best golfers from Slovakia, Czechia and neighbouring countries, and also many prominent entrepreneurs compete in the tournament.
By promoting Slovarm, we build brand awareness among all participants. Every year we look for an interesting form of promotion – from members of the folklore ensemble Kopaničiar offering the local plum brandy, through the presentation of the newest water taps right on the teeing ground, to this year's whale.
The whale is constructed from PEX pipes manufactured at Slovarm. The 9-metre creation was authored by the artist and scenographer Milan Mikula from Reco for the purpose of presentation at the 2023 Aquatherm trade fair in Nitra.
The whale got its second chance to promote Slovarm products in an original way right at the last, 18th hole of the Penati Golf Resort in Šajdíkove Humence. Together with the corporate banner, it was unmissable, as evidenced by the response from both the organisers and the competitors: "Damned, art!", exclaimed one Czech golfer.
